Why Wellness Workx… for Business
As a small business owner for 15 years, I have learned that a happy workplace is key to employee retention and a successful enterprise, and I am proud that no one has ever left us for a competing company.
Throughout my working life I have experienced the full range of attitudes towards employee morale and care. I have learned that the most successful workplaces are those in which owners are generous and considerate of their employees, where individuals feel valued and that their work is meaningful.
I understand the challenges of attracting and retaining top talent, especially when we must compete with large corporations and their generous benefits plans.
But, at the same time, there are advantages small businesses have as well. They have far more flexibility in offering certain benefits, vacation days or work-from-home options etc. and they can influence the all-important environment and culture of their workplace more easily.
