Why Wellness Workx… for Sports
Since early childhood I have enjoyed being a member of many youth travel sports clubs including soccer, baseball and ice hockey.
As my skills and experience grew, I later played college soccer in England and coached in adult and youth soccer clubs as well as goalkeeping academies.
More recently I have been the Sponsorship Manager for two different adult and youth travel clubs in Chicago. Today, I play semi-professional soccer for the club, United SC Chicago.
I have been fortunate to have used Shaklee nutrition products for my entire life and still count on them today for peak performance and recovery.
I believe that all young athletes should have the opportunity to train and play with travel sports teams regardless of the financial means of their families. Most of the Clubs I have played for offered scholarships to young players who consequently trained by professional coaches and played in professionally organized sports leagues.
At Wellness Workx, we have designed programs for travel sports teams, offering wellness products to their players and supporters alike. These products rather than being unhealthy snacks such as cookies and candy, include premium nutritional supplements, which we also supply to the professional players of the Chicago Hounds of Major League Rugby.
