Workforce Wellness plan with Shaklee Loyalty Rewards

  • The Employer decides based on their budget the amount of monthly contribution they will offer to their employees. The minimum contribution to qualify for Shaklee’s Loyalty Rewards program is $100 per month.
  • The Loyalty rewards program is like Amazon’s “subscribe and save” program where a standing monthly order is placed by the employee and adjusted each month depending on their product preferences. In return for this “loyalty” the employee receives from Shaklee an additional 15% of the monthly dollar amount to spend on products.
  • Anton Straughan from Wellness Workx presents the details of the program to the employees as a group at the employer’s office or over a Teams or Zoom call.
  • Employees interested in receiving this benefit sign an “opt-in” form. This is an agreement between the employee and their employer committing to signing up for the monthly Shaklee Loyalty Rewards program and therefore using the employer contribution to purchase any Shaklee products.
  • The Employer simply adds their monthly contribution to each employee’s payroll. The contribution is recorded as a “Lifestyle Spending Account” and the employee is taxed on that contribution as if it were regular payroll income.
  • Wellness Works provides a paper catalog and a web-based link (link to product catalog) to each employee for them to review and decide which products may interest them for their first order.
  • Having had some time to review the product catalog the employee signs up with Shaklee as a “Member” rather like a Costco or Amazon prime membership using their company email address and their personal credit card. This also enables the employee to purchase goods over the amount of the Employer contribution if they so choose.
  • Wellness Workx will walk each employee through signing up as a member with Shaklee and assist in setting up their Loyalty order program. This will take roughly 15 minutes per employee.
  • Each month the employee receives an email from Shaklee reminding them that they have an order which will be shipped on a certain date and that it can be left as the previous month or adjusted as needed.
  • The products arrive at the Employees home vis USPS or Fed Ex 2 or 3 days later.
  • Each month if the employer requests, Wellness Workx will send them a report listing which employees have signed up for the Loyalty Rewards program to ensure they are receiving this intended Wellness benefit.
