Why Wellness Workx… for Sports
Since early childhood I was fortunate to have been a member of many youth travel sports clubs including soccer, baseball and ice hockey.
As my skills and experience grew I have also played and coached in adult and youth soccer clubs as well as goalkeeping academies.
I have been involved with ….and my parents have contributed to many different fundraising activities set up by these clubs!
More recently I have been the Fundraising and Sponsorship Manager for two different adult and youth soccer travel clubs in Chicago.
I understand the reasons for the many costs associated with running a travel sports club and the consequent financial challenges they face.
I believe that all young athletes should have the opportunity to train and play with travel sports teams regardless of the financial means of their families. Most of the Clubs I have played for offered scholarships to young players who needed that assistance to be trained by professional coaches and play in professionally organized sports leagues.
At Wellness Workx, we have designed a fundraising program for travel sports teams, offering wellness products to their players and supporters alike. These products rather than being unhealthy snacks such as cookies and candy, include premium nutritional supplements, which we also supply to the professional players of the Chicago Hounds of Major League Rugby.
